Taylor Momsen (born Taylor Momsen, full name Taylor Michelle Momsen, born Taylor Michel Momsen) is an American rock singer, actress, lead singer of The Pretty Reckless.

Taylor was born in St. Louis, Missouri, into the family of Michael and Collet Momsen. It has Russian roots. She began her career at the age of three, starring in an advertisement for Shake N ‘Bake. The first significant role for her was the role in the movie “The Prophet of Death” with Danis Hopper. In 2000, she starred in the movie “The Grinch – The Thief of Christmas” with Jim Carrey. Around the same time, the charts began to conquer a new style, born in America’s Detroit automobile heart (Motor Town) and dubbed “motown”.
