MOTIVATION FOR THE GUITARIST: KIRK HAMMETT

There is one guitar riff that I can easily play at any time, even if I am woken up abruptly in the middle of the night, because we played this song hundreds of times. It seems to me that I’m the only one who can play it, find the right sound for it. Since everyone is looking at me, I should always set an example. And if I do not practice the game of this riff, then my level of ownership of the instrument will fall.

I was not motivated by the things that other people can be motivated by. I was just motivated by the desire to play the guitar well. In fact, after watching a movie about Jimmy Hendrix, on the way home I remembered that I had a guitar at home, and I literally dug it out of the pantry. Continue reading

The success was so impressive that they began to talk about the Irish invasion. The first and loudest of all declared themselves “U-2”. They began with the performance of simple rock’n’rolls, gradually improving the technique of the game, they recorded three albums and became quite famous in their homeland. In 1982, they meet with producer Brian Inou. After completing his school, U-2 released their famous album Unforgettable Fire in 1984, which sold in the United States with a circulation of 9 million. For a group almost unknown, it was a triumph . The next disc was released only in March 1987 and already in April became gold and took first place in all charts, and all 10 of its compositions were headed by 10 popularity tables of the magazine “Melody Maker” – an unprecedented case from the time of the Beatles.
