Time – early 90s, scene – Helsinki, Finland. Hanging out with friends in the bars, Bazi, who was playing the drum kit at the time in the beginner group, met Yuri. As it turned out, their musical tastes coincided and the next group they collect together. It so happened that Bazi began to play the guitar, and Yurki – to sing. Since then, the responsibilities for creating new songs have been distributed in the same way: Yuki composes words, and Bazi composes music. Timo Timo became the rhythm guitarist of the young band. The search for the bass player dragged on for a while. But after Bazi, again in one of the bars, met Archie, this problem disappeared – Archie came to the rehearsal and immediately gets into the stream. The last to join the group was the drummer Jussi69. Biography
Born in Santa Monica, California. Joining Suicidal Tendencies (in 1989), Robert made funky notes in the sound of the band, which is especially heard on Lights … Camera … Revolution! and The Art of Rebellion. As a result, Rob infected the leader of Suicidal Tendencies, Mike Muir, with funk music and the two of them organized the Infectious Grooves project to play more funky music. Continue reading

Definition of Rock Music (part 1)

Rock music (Eng. Rock music) – the generalized name of many areas of music. The word “rock” – rocking – in this case indicates the rhythmic sensations characteristic of these directions associated with a certain form of movement, by analogy with “roll”, “twist”, “swing”, “shake”, etc. Such signs rock music, such as the use of electric musical instruments, creative self-sufficiency (rock musicians are characterized by the performance of their own compositions) are secondary and often misleading. For this reason, the belonging of some styles of music to rock is disputed. Rock is also a special subcultural phenomenon; subcultures such as fashion, hippies, punks, metallers, goths are inextricably linked with certain genres of rock music.

Rock music has a large number of directions: from light genres such as dance rock and roll, pop rock, britpop to brutal and aggressive genres – death metal and hardcore. Continue reading
