The procession of rock (part 4)
The band “Iron Maiden”, one of the giants of heavy metal, it was she who made heavy metal a popular movement among young people. The group was formed in 1977 in the UK. Along with some other bands, “Iron Maiden” was the so-called “new wave of English heavy metal.” Taking the sound of such groups of the early 70s as “Ice Zeppelin” and “Black Sabbet” as a model, “Iron Maiden” in a short time found its musical style, which, in turn, became a guide for other groups. Fame in the homeland came in 1979, when the song “Running Free” hit the “top thirty”. Hard rock, like rock and roll in its time, was sharp and aggressive, but unlike punk, it implies good command of instruments, and in it aggressiveness is present not as dull bitterness at everything and everything, but as expressions aversion to the dark sides of man. Naturally, hard rock was not something completely new, it only absorbed the most vivid and expressive features of other directions, in hard rock you can see classical music, black blues, and rock and roll, at the same time hard rock brought a lot of innovations to the music. Hard rock performers in the lyrics began to study the dark corners of the human soul, raise philosophical topics, reflect occult knowledge, consider Christianity and Satanism. Hard rock was the first heavy-sounding musical direction. Hard rock originated from world-famous bands such as Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, and Led Zeppelin. Continue reading
